Problem
Disputing electricity and gas debts
Being asked to pay bills or debts that are not yours? We help you dispute them and defend your position.
How it works
It happens more often than you would think: bills in your name for a former tenant's consumption, contracts activated without your knowledge, or payment demands for periods when you did not even live in the property. A debt that is not yours should not be paid: it should be disputed, with the right documents and within the right deadlines. We analyse your situation, reconstruct the dates and prepare a formal complaint to the supplier, following the case through to a response and, if needed, taking it to ARERA's consumer desk.
How we solve it
- 1We go through the bills and payment demands you received
- 2We verify the holder, period and origin of the disputed debt
- 3We gather the evidence: contracts, transfers and move-in dates
- 4We file a formal complaint with the supplier and track the response
- 5If needed, we escalate the case to ARERA's consumer desk
Required documents
- Identity document and tax code
- Bills or payment demands received
- Rental contract or deed showing your move-in date
- Any ownership-transfer or reactivation paperwork
